We love the language, I did not learn any Hungarian and George has lost much of the language taught by his parents, but we put on the TV just to hear the language, it's very soothing.
But one other thing I really love is the 2 twin quilts on a queen bed....we have talked about it at work and now I really love it!

Another later start day. Still had a few must see things on our list for the last day.
Started back up at Matthias Church and headed toward Gellert Hill.
Before we did the great climb to the top of Gellert Hill we needed fuel... this was us before we refueled...
Then up we went.... and all along the way were the biggest snails we have ever seen!! And thousands of them!!
It was an amazing view from the top!
And then down to the Gellert Thermal Bath. We only enjoyed them from the outside, much quieter than the Thermal Pools yesterday.
And the coolest water refill station..
Then we took a one hour tour of the Danube by boat, but not before stocking up on Hungarian Paprika!!
Took the Funicular to the top of the Castle District. Originally built in 1870, destroyed in World War II and rebuilt and reopened in 1986.
Then another thought provoking experience at the Hospital in the Rock
More information and experiences directly related to George's life in Hungary until he and his family fled their home.
Funny we almost did not do the tour...partly my not reading all the information... not totally realizing the price...or time of the guided tour..we had an 11:00 tour time initially but they said it was OK to come back for the last tour.. they could not refund our money... and it was not cheap so we felt we needed to do it and we are both so glad they could not refund the money...it was thought provoking and just another piece to the puzzle of George's return to Budapest...
Then we finished off our last night at a beautiful rooftop bar overlooking the Danube River....Hello and Good bye Budapest!🍻🍷❤️
We did it!
Mission accomplished George made it back to his homeland...
