George's day to drive...first few corners and I was made to eat crow.... what rolled out from under the seat was the first of 2 nectarines........sorry nice fruit stand ladies... you are not sneaky after all...
Went into Old Town Korcula, which they call Little Debrovnik!
When you walk up through the centre walled area there are narrow alleys on both side that lead to the sea. Very charming area and not at all busy. It is filled with Churches, restaurants, studios and shops and apartments...
My favourite alleyway...
And then wrapping around it all is a walled area along the sea wall lined with restaurants where you can watch the boats, ferries, catamarans or small cruise lines go by..
And the city is nicely dappled with kitty cats...
Then back to the place to change and look for the one of very few sandy beaches... Vela Przina Beach.
RV campsites along the way..
The water was pretty warm...even warm enough for George to go in... and did he ever go in.... the few rocks getting in got the better of him and down he went and he was rolled and tossed by the waves! Priceless!
A few hours was plenty enough time in the sun and sand... so back to the place to relax before dinner...like we haven't been doing that all day already... then back to Old Town Korcula for dinner ..
Sunset from the restaurant terrace....
And the night ended with ice cream... and vino back on the terrace...
