Woke up to this... and a rain shower...oh I want one!
About a 2 minute walk from our place is a bakery. Everything looks so delicious! If you want a coffee, most times it's from a machine. If you want espresso or something fancier then they make it for you. But they are tiny...like a quarter or third of a cup! But the breads....oh we may OD soon on it!
You can find these places in most small towns or highway pullovers....they know how to make amazing bread, buns and pastries here.
We drove about 40 km south towards Makarska... Beautiful countryside, very hilly, but they do give you lots of places to pull over and see the sights. The homes and businesses are soooo close to the roads.
This little car of ours is awesome, if only we could bring it home!
Stopped in Brela, took us a bit to find a parking spot and figure out the parking meter... but we did it! Cute seaside place nestled in the hills. Lucky for Google translate!
The flowers here are amazing, everything smells so nice.!
Then we made it to Makarska. I think I am wearing these words out. .beautiful, amazing and breathtaking... just not sure how else to describe it to be honest.
We have seen more and more RVs and also RV Campsites.
Hunger struck and we had our most favourite meal yet! George had Lasagna which he said tasted so differently than anywhere else and I had chicken skewers and veggies...oh I was craving veggies. It was really good! Hungarians don't do veggies!
And a first, after you pay your bill they offer you a liqueur, mine was pear which was so smooth...yummy and a nice end to a great meal!
And classic European laundry...no dryers here either, just mother nature.
Wandered around a little more before it was time to head back home..
Grocery store stop..trying to taste as many of the flavours and snacks that we can...Bobi... not so much!
Went down to enjoy our beach for a bit.
